SECOND MAIN GAME
Saturday comes again, and the familiar intercom tone goes off, with the voice of the Administrator not far behind.
"Attention, guests! The Main Game is about to begin. Please make your way to the elevators at this time. As a reminder, attendance is mandatory, and anyone who refuses or runs late will be terminated."
By now, you know the process, as you find yourself pressing on the ⧖ button to take you to the trial room. The massive hole in the far wall from Aaron and Mugen's encounter with the Process just last week is gone, and instead of a sunset, the walls are projecting a quiet beach vibe, with a rising sun in the far distance. Along the perimeter of the room, about a dozen of the tripod Process robots linger, looking like they're watching things go on then really anything else.
Otherwise, everything seems to be mostly the same. The couches and chairs are the same, and the hourglass podiums are there, with the requisite spare tablets lay on them if needed. Aside from the background, one could imagine that things are exactly the same as you all left them, for the most part.
That is, if it wasn't for the person already standing in the room with their back to you when you all arrive, twirling the open red and white pinwheel parasol in their hands. As enough people filter in, a woman turns and faces the group with a smile.
"Nice to finally see you all," she beams, her voice immediately recognizable as that of the Administrator's. She moves over to one of the chairs and sits. "Shall we get started, then?"
Regardless of your next move, the sands of the hourglass start to fall, and the final Main Game begins. What comes next...?
[ DISCUSSION START ]
[ Welcome to the final Main Game! The first vote will end at 4 p.m. EST, and the second vote will end at 7 p.m. EST, with some wrapup things to follow afterwards. Changing votes is allowed – please make sure to vote in both rounds!
Due to OOC circumstances, the 7 people with the highest vote totals will move on to the second vote. Voting for Mugen, Aaron, and Vi will not be an option. ]

[As if Naoi always knew what to do and wasn't one fool more in this group, hah. Still, he says:]
Obviously the strategies used last time aren't going to work. Let's start with something new: did anyone change your role during the week?

After the option in the shop has been thoroughly discussed last week, I believe a formal Keymaster survey is likely not going to reveal much, but nevertheless...
I personally do not know who it is, but urge anybody who knows - either via their role or maybe even via personal communication - to speak up.

As far as I'm concerned, this first one isn't gonna work. You're welcome to go for it anyway, what do I care. See, there's a flaw in this system. They want us to reduce the votes to eight people, but there's obviously more than that here. If we all self-vote then it's gonna become a tie. Assuming they don't just randomly select people from the pool and everyone actually votes the way they agree to, anyway.
Given how obvious this flaw is though, they've probably already thought up a way to prevent us from doing this indefinitely.
I'm not a fan of this one either, but whatever. Here's number two. We pool all our votes for one person instead of spreadin' them out. That fight last week was a crock of shit and I ain't eager to put myself in that position, much less for you clowns. At the same time... Can't deny I'd have a lot more fun fightin' to survive than the rest of you.
So, let's skip all the hemming and hawing and you guys can just vote me. It doesn't need to be said since there's no way they'd give the same person a role twice, but just in case. I'm not the keymaster and I'm not the sacrifice.
There's technically a third option, but it's even more of a gamble than one and ain't worth mentioning.

Considering last week, I don't think it's a good idea to wait on this any longer. And I see nothing else about this "game" that we have to clear up first, so...
There's one piece of information I can share: I got the Keymaster role this week.

FIRST VOTE – TIEBREAKER
Thank you so much for your participation. Before we move on to the second vote, we have the matter of a tiebreaker to get through, first. It seems there are more people voted for than we can allocate, so you'll need to fill the remaining two slots.
[ The voting options change: ]
Your options are between Enoch Drebber, Muroi Seishin, Setsu, Thancred Waters, and Toshio Ozaki. The two people with the most votes will move on to the final vote. If you will.
[ Voting comment for the tiebreaker is here! Everyone (minus the ineligible voters) are encouraged to vote. Please submit your responses by 4:50pm. Due to OOC circumstances, the final vote total will be between 7 people. ]

Question: is Setsu really an option? After that little stunt isn't voting for them a risky move?

FIRST ROUND RESULTS 1/2
I appreciate the detour. Now, we can move on to the second vote.
[ The voting options change yet again: ]
no subject
For the second round of voting, you now have to choose between:
Credo Aiblinger
Enoch Drebber
Full Frontal
Izuminokami Kanesada
Mael Stronghart
Thancred Waters
Yagen Toushirou
Remember, this will be the final vote to decide on who will be marked for death. ... Well, good luck!
[ And she sits back down.
ooc: The second round will go until 7pm EST, with the wrap up afterwards. Voting is here! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to a mod! ]

Which means it comes back down to "the people in the tiebreaker are the safest to vote." Of the two, I'd rather go for short white hair. I dunno, maybe it's just me. But I just can't bring myself to break up the two havin' a marital spat over there.

FINAL RESULTS 1/2
Well done, everyone! Let's see how we all did, shall we?
[ The totals flash on everyone's tablets: ]
no subject
Well, then! Let's check the answers, shall we?
[ ... ]
First, the Sage was Yagen Toushirou!
Second, the Keymaster was Peregrin Took!
and the Sacrifice, and the winner of this round is... Mael Stronghart!
Congrats! That was really well played, everyone. Though... unfortunately this is where things have to come to an end.
[ Well.
Everyone will instantly freeze in place, even Stronghart and Drebber. Apart from their mouths that is, since if you're facing down a mass execution you should probably be entitled to last words.
If anyone's gonna do anything now that the Main game is coming to an end (if they try, they might be able to wiggle a finger or two), now's the time. There's always options, right? ]

Stop, wait! You –
[ And then she gets hit another two times from the Process' lasers, which causes her to yell and unceremoniously fade away in a string of code.
It doesn't take much longer after that until everything around the group also starts disappearing – the walls, the couches, the few Process that remain, as what remains is nothing but a void. Eventually everyone else in your sight disappears, as your vision fades into white, and then black.
And then you wake up. ]
